RAPTOR HACKING - WHATS HAPPENING NOW?
THE RAPTOR IS DEAD......LONG LIVE THE RAPTOR....So I thought it was about time to get out some details on the status of EMMA.The last week or so has been research and prototyping ideas in LEGO to see what the best possiable solution to the next stage of hacking will be.One of the most overlooked aspects (IMHO) is total system intergration and placement.Isnt it great when you go to put the great body shell on and the wheels dont fit (and their welded on hubs!) THen you have to take out the 9inch angle grinder and do plastic surgery to the bottom of your robot... problems with robots #37.Anyway heres a list and breakdown of what we discovered in our THINK TANK (last door on the left) down at the hack labs.

well at least any idea of trying to use ASIMOVS (demigod ?) three robot rules to build battle raptors.

This site is a attempt to bring together infomation on any plans to build battle raptors,
leave a comment on the article or here that best suits your site as long a it features Mark Tildens (another demigod?) ROBORAPTOR as its core design element..

If there is enough interest we hope to start local competions to find the best battle raptors.
international battles may eventually take place via a "standardized" telerobotics link system .
This should mean you can plug a "standard" raptor into a interface take your "standard" raptor and battle against an oppenent also with raptors on his end, two controlers four raptors, 1 battle mirrored in another room-town-country....

NOTE : STANDARD WOULD MEAN SOME SIMPLE HACKS TO CREAT A USEABLE ROBOT THAT COULD BE MIRRORED ON ALL THE INTERNATIONAL RAPTORS, MAYBE PLUG IN MODULES AND A FEW MECHANICAL MODS TO ADD A BETTER BITE.
